China Souvenirs Collectible Coin – Chengdu Tianfu

This coin turns Chengdu Tianfu into something you can hold — gold-tone finish, and nicely detailed. It’s a keepsake coin in the collectible tradition — for holding, not spending.

A gold-tone finish sets the tone; the detailing does the rest. The Tianfu and Chengdu theme runs through the whole design. The design packs in panda, bamboo, and palace hall — a fine Chinese gift coin. The panda is an instant signal of China — friendly and unmistakable. Color areas, where present, are evenly applied with no bleeding. The coin has the satisfying heft collectors associate with quality strikes. Lettering, where present, is crisp and legible. The design is balanced — no dead space, no crowding. The reverse carries the design through; this isn’t a one-sided affair.

One for the album, one for luck — collectors understand, the kind of Chinese commemorative coin worth framing well. Collectors of Chinese memorabilia will know exactly what to do with it.
