How the Apex Mustang fits your game:
- True to Any Line: Thrown flat, the Mustang flies dead straight with a soft fade. It holds anhyzers beautifully without fighting out too early, and pushes on smooth hyzers with incredible glide.
- Ergonomic Profile: Built with a classic, highly intuitive shape. It features a comfortable beadless rim, a subtle concave wing, and a smoothly rounded shoulder that releases cleanly.
- Clean Forehands: The beadless design and flat-to-slight-dome profile make it incredibly comfortable for sidearm players looking for a touch approach disc.
The Apex Plastic Advantage
Mint Discs' Apex plastic is a premium, opaque polymer blend manufactured by MVP Disc Sports (similar to MVP's Neutron plastic). It provides superb, slightly tacky grip that performs exceptionally well in a variety of weather conditions. The Apex Mustang offers a highly balanced, predictable finish and extreme durability, ensuring it will maintain its reliable straight flight pattern even after taking a beating on heavily wooded courses.
<>Explore Other Mustang Plastics
Because Mint Discs organizes production by specific sequential runs, plastic selection subtly shifts the Mustang's flight personality. Check out these other premium options:
- Sublime Mustang: Offers a beautiful metallic sheen, a touch of flex, and tends to be the truest, straightest-flying iteration out of the box.
- Eternal Mustang: Highly durable, translucent candy plastic that retains its stability over years of heavy tree strikes.
- Nocturnal Mustang: Premium glow-in-the-dark plastic that typically features the flattest profile. It handles power beautifully, resulting in a slightly more stable flight.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Mint Discs Mustang good for beginners?
Absolutely! The Mustang's neutral-to-stable flight path (5/4/0/2) makes it highly forgiving and incredibly straight. It is a fantastic tool for newer players to learn angle control, as it will hold a straight line nicely before offering a gentle, predictable fade at the end.
How does Apex plastic compare to Eternal plastic?
Apex is an opaque, premium plastic that prioritizes a highly tactile, slightly grippier feel in the hand (equivalent to MVP Neutron). Eternal is a translucent "candy" plastic that is slightly stiffer and prioritize maximum, long-lasting durability against scuffs (equivalent to MVP Proton).
Does the Mustang have a bead?
No, the Mint Discs Mustang is a completely beadless midrange. This gives it a very smooth feel on the bottom rim, which many players prefer for a snag-free backhand release and comfortable forehand grip.
