This tools is used to remove controlled amounts of clay from wheel-thrown and sculpture pieces. The shaped cutting head is made from heavy stainless steel ribbon with sharpened edges. With its rugged hardwood handle, this tool ensures a sure grip and easy manipulation in wet clay.
The widest portion of the steel ribbon (a flat edge) is 1-3/4".
